Awarded SBIR/STTR

Frameshift Genomics has been awarded a STTR with the Marth Lab to improve IOBIO - a real-time genomic visualization and analysis project. Specifically this grant will focus on the challenges of quickly and easily determing the quality of data in big genomic projects that contain hundreds or thousands of samples. Combining real-time analysis and custom visualizations enables researchers to ask more questions, and quickly follow up on their hypotheses, curiosities, and insights. This stronger relationship with the data is needed to get the most insight from these big, complex data sets. Additionally, we are improving our infrastructure to make it more compabitible with users who require local installations, which will enable many potential users, who's sensitive patient data can not leave their own systems, to make use of our software.
